darci anderson
is the founder and head Coach of flux CrossFit. She holds certifications in CrossFit (Level 1), CrossFit Olympic Lifting, CrossFit Basic Barbell, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Movement and Mobility, Robb Wolf’s Paleo Certification, Agatsu–Kettlebells, and in 2008 she became the first Canadian woman certified as an instructor with Elite Combat Fitness, from whom she was awarded the honour of Most Technical Athlete. Darci has an honours degree in Women’s Studies with a minor in Political Science from the University of Alberta, and a Masters Degree in Social and Political Thought from York University. Throughout most of her adult life Darci has applied her academic skills to researching, studying and experimenting with various principles and methods of strength and conditioning training.

verne anderson
completed his CrossFit (Level 1) in Fall 08. Representing Canada, Verne and team Hrytzak won the 2009 Fifty and Over World Curling Championship in New Zealand.
lucy hill
started working out at flux CrossFit in the summer of 2008 when flux was in its early stages (in a garage). In September 2009, Lucy achieved her Level 1 CrossFit certification in Vancouver and began coaching at flux. Lucy works as an actor, improvisor, and writer.
Shaun Kaufmann
is a former competitive Olympic weightlifter. A former Western Canadian Summer Games champion and bronze medal winner at the Canadian National Weightlifting Championships, Shaun has a personal best total of 257.5 KG (117.5 KG snatch, 140KG C&J) at a body weight of 85 KG. Shaun holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Regina and is currently pursuing his Level 3 in Krav Maga.
charity marsh
is co-owner of flux CrossFit. She completed her certification in CrossFit (Level 1) in May 09 and the CrossFit Kids certificate in June 09. She also completed CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, CrossFit’s Movement and Mobility Certification, and the Paleo seminar with Robb Wolf. Outside their CrossFit ‘box’ Charity holds the Canada Research Chair in Interactive Media and Performance and is a professor at the University of Regina. She has a doctorate in Ethnomusicology and Popular Music Studies as well as a Masters in Women’s Studies from York University. Charity is a lover of the kettlebells and heavy lifting days.
jane mcleod
completed her certification in CrossFit (Level 1) in May 09 and CrossFit Gymnastics in Oct 09. She has been with flux since the start and loves it. She was pretty much addicted from the first workout. Jane works as an engineer with the Government of Saskatchewan. She is very excited to help other people out when they work out at flux CrossFit.
