Flux CrossFit Kids


Flux CrossFit kids is a FUN, strength and conditioning program that helps kids learn how to move more efficiently and effectively in the world.

Flux CrossFit Kids workouts are functional, constantly varied and performed at high intensity. In each session we focus on the CrossFit 10 key elements of fitness: cardiorespiratory, endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, accuracy, agility, and balance.

Flux CrossFit Kids learn functional skills that prepare them for the stuff they do everyday (i.e. picking something up from the ground - the deadlift, placing something on a shelf overhead - the press, putting their backpack on - the clean), and much more. These flux Kids become more aware of their bodies, gain confidence, and boost self-esteem.

Each Flux CrossFit Kids session begins with a warm-up, followed by skills development and a W.O.D. (such as an obstacle course involving activities like box jumps, squats, monkey slaps, ring dips, sandbag pulls), then finishes with a game (like animal tag with the adults that is pictured below) and stretching.

Above all, the Flux CrossFit Kids W.O.D. (workout of the day) is intense, varied, and FUN!

Porch Puppies (4-7 years old)              Big Dawgs (7-12/13 yrs old)         Flux Monkeys (2-4 years old)

Flux CrossFit is the first CrossFit Kids affiliate in Saskatchewan and the only Kids affiliate in Regina!
